Statue of Liberty

Social studies is such an important subject and unfortunately it seems to get pushed to the back and ignored or not focused enough on. 

In order to teach my kids all the historical events possible, I have to focus on these events during ELA!

One of my favorite social studies unit to teach is American Symbols!! I especially love teaching about the Statue of Liberty!!
