Charlie Brown Thanksgiving

No holiday would be a holiday without Charlie Brown! So of course, we had to have a Charlie Brown a thanksgiving the day we left for thanksgiving Break! 

We read the book and watched the movie! The kids did a sequencing activity and story retelling! 

Then we had our Charlie Brown Thanksgiving! It was loved by all!! 

A Charlie Brown Valentine

Love is in the air! Love is in my classroom! February is such a short month but it is such an important month!

My firsties love to learn and they love to get to experience new things! For Valentine’s Day I transformed our room into a Charlie Brown valentine!

At this age they love to make crowns to wear and make their valentine day boxes! I love the Charlie Brown collection from oriental Trading! 

What I loved about the crowns were they had adhesive on them so my kiddos could do them on their own! No staple needed! Win win situation today!!!!!!!

Here they are all completed! They are soooo cute!!!

Don’t you love the valentine card boxes!!!!!!!! These are so amazing and it makes it so easy for them to pass out the Valentine’s and bring them home!!

They made Charlie Brown character lollipops!! 

The lollipops were the heart lollipops from oriental Trading! The Charlie Brown lollipop pieces were also from there! 

They went Gaga over the valentine treat bucket! This was at each seat and it was their materials for the day! They then took them home!

 In their buckets were Charlie Brown pencils, erasers and crayons!!! They loved these!!!!

Of course, I had to make a photo booth! Snoopy table cloth hanging on the wall with a snoopy be mine sign and snoopy cut outs hung around! There was also a giant snoopy stand up!

So this is how my Classroom looked for Valentine’s Day!

Have yourself a Charlie Brown Christmas!

To end the last week before the Christmas holiday, we celebrated a Charlie Brown Christmas!

I love Charlie Brown! He is my absolute favorite and oriental Trading has the most amazing selection of Charlie Brown holiday items and activities!!!!

First, I decorated the classroom!! The kids loved it!

The balls hanging from the ceiling and the cut outs are from oriental Trading! They are very cute and sturdy! 

I also put up a Charlie Brown back drop and giant snow globe! This just added to the ambiance of the room! These are also from Oriental Trading!

The tables were decorated with green vinyl tablecloths. I got these from oriental Trading and they come on a roll that you cut to fit your table or area you would like to cover! The trees I got from michaels as well as the garland and ornaments. The Charlie Brown cutouts in the tree are actually Charlie Brown photo booth props from oriental Trading! 

Of course, the kiddos need to have Charlie Brown pencils, erasers and crayons to use for this amazing day! And don’t forget a stocking for them to store them in. These stockings are so cute and the kids can decorate them! We used permanent sharpies and scentos markets!!

I got the pencils, erasers, crayons and stockings from oriental Trading!

For our day, we made reindeer food!

Candy cane reindeer!

Reindeer cookies using sugar cookies, frosting and edible reindeer parts made by Wilton!

Of course we made Merry Reindeer Munch From the Kindergals!!

For our ornament of the day, we made snowmen from oriental Trading!

For some games, we played Charlie Brown plinko, bean bag toss and bingo! These are all from Oriental Trading!

So there you have it! Our Charlie Brown Christmas!

A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving

It is already that time of year when we are thankful for our students and they are thankful for us! This is the time of year when our kids are excited and school is fun!!! 

My favorite thanksgiving movie and book is A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving! I love reading this book to my kids and then having a Charlie Brown thanksgiving in our classroom! 

Thanks to Oriental Trading and Learn365, you can add so much to your Charlie Brown thanksgiving celebration!

Here is what I did!

There are some awesome foam stickers of Charlie Brown and his friends on thanksgiving! I used these stickers to decorate orange plates and cups! I also decorated their popcorn bowls and some ceiling paper fans!!

I decorated the tables with pumpkins and brown tablecloths from Oriental Trading. I also made Charlie Brown characters and stood them up on the table using a pool noodle cut in half and sliced! I also placed leaf centerpieces on the tables as well!

I loved the cardboard decorations that Oriental Trading had! I used them to create the photo booth as well as hang on my clothesline as a display! 

A table by my door was decorated with a Charlie Brown centerpiece pack! So cute! 

Of course, we had to have pilgrim hats! These are from oriental Trading and they are amazing!! 

So that was the decorating! Now for the celebration! I made serving containers for the food with yellow plastic containers and black vinyl cut to look like Charlie Brown’s zig zag on his shirt!!!

The feast! Toast, jelly beans, pretzel sticks, popcorn and sprite! Just like Charlie Brown had!!

As you can see, I had some happy pilgrims!
