This is such an important day! Thanking those who have given do much to keep us safe.
A colleague of mine has a cousin whose boyfriend is a marine. He is overseas right now. Our kindergarten classes wrote him letters as an activity on veteran's day.
We showed them pictures of him and talked to them about soldiers and veterans.
They read Deanna Jumps What is Veterans Day, made soldiers with a follow me activity, and wrote a letter.
It was a busy day for my kindergators!
