Teacher Week 2014- Who am I?

So here I go with today's: Who am I?

My name is Cindy Price and I have been a teacher for 20 years. This is my 21st year. I spent 20 years in Kindergarten and I have been moved to First Grade this school year. I keep saying to myself: Change is good! Positive attitude will make it good!!

I was born and raised in Massachusetts and my heart is still there. I miss my hometown and state! I am now living in Delaware! 

My Family

I am a single mom to a wonderful little girl who is in first grade this year! I love being a mom and I adore her!

We took an amazing little trip this summer! Last week, we spent a couple days at the Nickelodeon Resort in Orlando. Here are a few pictures from our trip!

The White House

I entered a contest that I found on the Penniless Teacher. It was a contest to be chosen to attend the White House Teacher Appreciation Social. I entered it, writing my essays, not thinking I had a chance and guess what!! I did! I was one of 21 teachers from around the country chosen to sit down with Secretary of Education Arne Duncan and Dr. Jill Biden! Here are some pics:

I would love to be a forensic scientist! I love to watch all of the crime shows!

OOOH, this is a hard one because if you heard me sing in the shower you would say none!!! But if I had to sing one song it would be Wild One by Faith Hill!

I am both at times but more of a morning person lately!
