Polar Express Day

The last day before we leave for Christmas break, I always do polar express day! We wear our pajamas, have hot cocoa, candy canes and watch the movie!! Love this day!!! 

This year however, I had 9 children out due to being sick!! 

Polar Express

All aboard!!! Two of my favorite words I love hearing as my kiddos enter the multipurpose room to board the Polar Express! 

They have their tickets ready to go and they hand them to the conductor!

We, as teachers, have our favorite time of year or activities that we experience with our kiddos. I absolutely love the week before we go on Christmas break! I know the kids are a little bit hyper and not themselves but I love the magic of the season!

Polar Express is the second day of this amazing week and thanks to Oriental Trading and Learn365  I was able to add some details that made this day even better!

Isn’t the background and the train an amazing addition to any Polar Express day! I took their picture in front of this for their parent gift! And they turned out so stinking cute!!!

We wore our pajamas and had hot chocolate and candy canes! They loved the candy canes and they also came from Orinetal Trading!!!

Of course they got bells! These were taped under each seat so the kiddos could get them when the little boy got his in the movie!!

It was a great day for all!

Polar Express Day

I know that it is January but I totally forgot to post about our Polar Express Day! This is one of the best days of the year! 

We started the day off by reading the book, Polar Express and talking about it!

This year, the entire first grade went to the MPR to watch this amazing movie. We has set the chairs up to look like a rain and we taped bells under their chairs.

They kids got to wear their pajamas to school and we had hot cocoa nad candy canes during the movie!

The kids loved it as well as the teachers!
